MUGA News

The MUGA has now been open 6 months and has proved to be a a very popular facility for local sports clubs/individual teams/children's party's and the local community. The Barlow have hired the pitch, to ensure public liability, for community use during the week and this has now been extended to allow community use 12-4pm on a Sunday, subject to any private hire which takes precedence.

Daily maintenance of the pitch/equipment is essential to ensure that the surface/nets remain in perfect condition. Therefore as a reminder for use, appropriate clean footwear (trainers/moulded studs) must be used. (A boot brush is situated by the entrance gate). No food (including sweets/chewing gum) or drinks (other than water) allowed. Swinging/climbing on nets strictly banned.

Following these simple terms and conditions will ensure that the surface meets it's life expectancy of 10 years and continues to provide a facility that can be enjoyed by a variety of sports and generations to come. To hire contact ecrcpitchhire@gmail.com
